Shirley Hazzard’s The Transit of Venus (1980) might be the finest novel of the 20th Century. I look for new or gently read, clean copies of out-of-print books. Inscribed books make for interesting collectibles, but I will always indicate any marks or inscriptions in books that I offer for sale.
