This book would be considered in like new condition apart from a barely noticeable 1 mm abrasion to the edge of the upper right corner of the front cover. The white spots in the photographs are glare from the lighting, not defects in the book. It has 236 pages with diagrams, photographs, illustrations, tables and index. Royal octavo (9 3/4" x 6 3/4") bound in original publisher's pectoral boards. First edition. it is in Dutch language, easily readable with the Google translate app. Game analysis is by the winners, and Kamsky, Timman, Morozevich,Piket et al. It is a beautiful hard bound with caricatures, photographs, diagrams, interviews, and is printed on glossy heavy paper. It also has coverage of the match between Bacrot and Sosonko (two draws), the journalist’s tournament, won by Pein and Krnic in front of Crowther, Hartston et al, and the Dutch open chess championship.
